Singers: Bring your own copy of MESSIAH. You will receive all your other music at the first rehearsal. For the concert, you’ll need a black choir folder. All music is punched for 3 ring notebooks.

Accompaniment will be piano.

Concert Attire: These guidelines I’ve used for my Carnegie and Meymandi concerts. MEN: Black suit or tux with black bow tie and white shirt. Polished black dress shoes – no gym shoes – with black socks. WOMEN: Long, all-black concert attire with a moderate neckline. All sleeve lengths are acceptable, but any thin-cut straps should be covered with a shawl or wrap, jacket or dressy cardigan. Skirt or dress should be floor, ankle, or ballerina/tea length. Side or front slits are inappropriate; however, back slits are permitted. Any pants should be dressy evening wear. Black dress shoes which are comfortable to stand in for a long period of time. ACCESSORIES: Please accessorize conservatively and formally. Use soundless jewelry and scentless body products, please.
